The worst customer service ever

The worst customer service ever. Buy flight tickets elsewhere. Too exhausted to explain full story after being on phone for over an hour and having to call back 3 times and given run around. They do not listen or care.

I was Catfished by @priceline and @aparthotels_adagio Do Not waste your money 💸 with either!

I asked if I could get a different room. I was told I would have to pay approximately $25 extra per day. I said OK just give me a real room ! Then he decided that he made a mistake and that there were no rooms available.
Totally distraught I went to my room and cried. I sat on the bed to cry and fell through hurting my hip. To be in Paris and to be in Hell at the same time seemed like an oxymoron.

I told my daughter and she checked online and found that I was not being told the truth. I went back downstairs to show them the screenshots confirming availability.

Upon arriving downstairs I had to wait behind a lot of other angry hotel guests who also had complaints. Finally it was my turn!

Then hell opened up and the only solution offered by the hotel was to pay more money 💸💶 and I could get a real room. The room they initially said they did not have ! #Extortion Under duress I paid. Obviously the first room was unfit for anyonce to sleep in. I had already paid a little over I was Catfished by @priceline and @aparthotels_adagio Do Not waste your money with either!

The only thing Priceline offered was for me to stay in the storage room and receive 15% off of my next stay. 🤔🤣
No why in the hell would I use their service again!

After refusing the 15% I was told that someone would call me and the hotel to come up with a resolution the following day. That did not happen.

I was very clear that I would be requesting a refund !
Priceline said the hotel is responsible for my refund the Hotel Santa priceline is responsible for my refund. I don’t care who gives it to me they can fight amongst themselves after they give me my refund.

In the new room… if you want room service you have to pay extra! The room is not suitable for anyone with disabilities. The shower/tub sits very high from the ground. Stepping into and out of the tub is a bit tricky… even for me.

Last minute flight plans booked in minutes!

I had a last minute invite to fly to Malta/Gozo. I spent two days trying to find my flight. I finally reached out to Priceline and spoke to Buster! In very short order he had my whole flight and hotel reserved! He had a lot of patience with me! I gave him ALL my particular flight needs and just like "easy peasy" he navigated a solution of every single one! Thank you SO MUCH BUSTER!

The lady on the phone was very…

The lady on the phone was very knowledgeable and helped me very quickly to book my flight for my mom. Before her I was online and trying to do it myself and after booking the flights the website stated flight is full. Walked through it on the phone and same flight still available. And she helped me through a different route to book flight.

Are the taxes and fees completely disclosed her or am I gonna get blind-sided with other fees "you weren't told about"? (Notwithstanding additional insurance options>0

A:

Beware of local high mileage fees. Priceline advertises unlimited free mileage but if you rent a car in the town you live in, you can get blindsided with these fees. Advantage Car Rental charged $20 per day. Priceline hides these fees in the fine print AFTER your purchase. In general, stick with better known car rental companies who have a reputation to protect.

The agreed to price is inclusive. I would look at dollar's website before renting from Priceline. There is no layer of protection from prcln.

Yes, there are fees as others have mentioned but the amount is disclosed when you book. So... it's not a case of being blindsided but more a case of being annoyed. I've never had any huge issues with Priceline but if I ranked them 1 less star, it would be for the fees. Be wary of them if you'd ever have to cancel a reservation. You can purchase a cancellation "safety net" when you book but I am not sure how much it is. The key there is most of us do not know in advance about having to cancel, right?

A:

Book directly via the Airline (Lufthansa, United, and, depending where you are departing from Signapore Airlines is my favourite!) and get the best deal!

No, they have gotten worse! Do not use priceline for anything. If anything is wrong with your reservation they will not give you a refund for whatever reason!

Here's a tip to save you some possible grief. Don't use Priceline. Go on google flights, check the prices easily and book directly through the airline.

Priceline 9=you get what you pay for, forget about a refund.

Never ever use priceline I tried twice once with a hotel they gave me the wrong date. The second was with a rental car. I rented a suv as we needed space for 5 people and it confirmed the suv just to send me a email confirming a compact car. And they would not change it...

Hi, I booked two International flights through Priceline and now I wonder if they are legitimate bookings as I have only received itineraries and not actual e tickets with the airlines. I have never waited more than a few hours for an eticket and its been 24 hours. I call their helpline and they say my tickets are confirmed. I have emailed them to supply actual flight booking numbers in 12 hours or I will do a credit card reversal. How long has anyone waited for an eticket through this site? And why do the positive reviews read like bots? Its not looking good for Priceline. We have consumer protection in Australia and if they don't give me legit bookings in 12 hours they are looking at a snake that bites.

I have booked many times thru Priceline. I have never received an e-ticket. They would normally send confirmation/itinerary. 24 hours prior to flight, go to site for Airline and print boarding pass; or you can wait until you arrive at the airport to print boarding pass. They are legit. Just have some shady business from time to time. Their customer service is the worst I've ever dealt with. Sometimes you can get really great deals, but lately it has been costing me more time and money then it's worth.

Sounds like you are a "nervous Nelly". Priceline is a multi-billion dollar corporation and they could buy the airlines that they use for their bookings. I'm not sure that you know exactly what Priceline does, but if you fight them you will lose. I suggest you do what the other responders have stated. Call the airline. Priceline is like an E-Bay or a Groupon. They don't provide the actual tickets, they buy the flight for you and then they simply inform you what they purchased on your behalf. Your contract is actually with the airline. Priceline is simply the facilitator.
